Makaela Davis is a writer, illustrator, filmmaker, and visual artist from Atlanta, Georgia, whose creative journey began in childhood making stop-motion films with her five younger siblings in Jacksonville, Florida. Trained in film and visual arts at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts and later in 3D animation and graphic design at SCAD Atlanta, she has worked as a filmmaker and designer for advertising agencies in New York, San Diego, Atlanta, and Miami. Now based in South Florida, her work spans music, murals, poetry, painting, and visual projection, exploring themes of nature, heritage, spirituality, connection, and the shared power of creative expression.
